I have always enjoyed painting. From childhood to the present day I draw and paint as an essential means to express myself. Although I have also practiced architecture as a career I have consistently turned to painting as an expressive and creative outlet.
I have regularly exhibited my work in Australia at Watters Gallery in Sydney, Despard Gallery in Hobart and Christine Abrahams Gallery in Melbourne. I have also exhibited in Tokyo whilst living there. This website is not a definitive survey of achievements but merely a sampling of my more recent output.
My work is abstract and studio made; inspired by colour, form, gesture and their interplay. I often see, light, air and space in my work suggesting a dynamic environment intended to open a conversation between my world and your gaze. I continue to paint and intend to keep this site updated from time to time.
